Best Risotto in town! Never tasted risotto as tasty and umami as this one! Fried calamari and mushrooms are tasty too-not hard but nice and chewy. Welcome bread is warm to start the meal. Indoor seating is well air conditioned and clean. Portion is good enough to be shared. Would love to visit again with friends.

I reside in Menteng area, and quite frankly, most F&B establishments in the area don't really offer good food and atmosphere. But I'd say Dominica has got both, and that's why I'd go there frequently. I remember in my first few visits I'd order the Italian staples like pasta and pizza. But in one particular visit, my partner decided to order Branzino fish and burrata salad. I must say that I was totally impressed with the authentic flavour, especially knowing that not too many so-called Italian restaurants in Jakarta serve good burrata. Recently, having followed a recommendation, I decided to try the roasted chicken with basmati rice. And another visit, I tried the Tunisian roasted lamb. It looks like I'd stick to the two for a while until I crave for the pasta again. For meat eaters, I'd suggest the steak tartare or the ribeye steaks. I always have my steak bleu or rare - Dominica can do it exactly how it's supposed to be done. If you're into béarnaise sauce, theirs is really a knockout - you'd rarely find good béarnaise sauce done properly in Jakarta. Let's not forget the French onion soup. As far as I can tell, there's only two restaurants in Jakarta who can really do it well - Dominica is one of them.

Had a great lunch with colleagues from office. The ambience of Dominica Jakarta is homey and comfortable. The service is excellent; food serve considerably fast, staffs are friendly and attentive. The food are really good, we ordered a lot of varieties; Tunisian Roast Lamb and Honey Brie Pizza are highly recommended

I celebrated my parents' anniversary at this Italian restaurant in South Jakarta. I had their steak and their slow braised wagyu beef cheek. If that sounds good to you, let me say that it tastes better than it sounds. The slow braised wagyu was extremely tender, you could immediately tell when it reaches your mouth that you won't need to put in much effort into chewing. The meat bursts with the slightest touch of the roof of your mouth, and the sauce just compliments the meat really well. And you shouldn't be intimidated by the prices of the steak. I ordered the 600gr steak, I don't quite remember the cut, but it was cooked perfectly to our request and it well-fed a family of 5. I was skeptical at size of portion at first, but rest assured, the portion will adequately feed you and you will not go home hungry. We also ordered the monthly special steak with rice, it was also really delicious and a great value for money in my opinion. To end things off, we got the 15 layered cake for dessert; we enjoyed it, and we thought the caramel really accentuated the cake's flavor. The service was excellent. Our server had quite the experience with wine, and he even gave us a little tour of the little wine cellar they have. Our dishes arrived just in time, and the servers are always ready to help when needed. Overall a great restaurant to celebrate an occasion, or just to treat yourself after a long day's work. Love it!

It’s very suitable to chill with your friends. The foods are good. The service is excellent. The price is above the average of the restaurant, but I like the Wagyu Steak I ordered.

A lovely, homey spot serving classic Italian comfort food — no fuss, just done right. The mushroom risotto had great flavor and texture, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. Drinks were just okay (clearly not a bar-focused place), so I’d recommend sticking to sparkling water. Prices are on the higher side, but portions are generous and meant to be shared. What I love most is the warm ambiance — it truly feels like dining in someone’s home, because, well… it actually is! A charming house turned into a cozy restaurant. Perfect for casual get-togethers with friends or family.

Italian food! Take light dinner here, their collection of gelato is many! You can test first, I pick dark chocolate and something cheese (I forget its name), voila! It's a good combination. Also try their pizza, so yummy. Distance between tables is far, very convenient. Recommended for couple or friends...
